Luyobolola primary school opened in 2001 and has an ever-increasing number of students attending.  Currently, 729 students all try to fit within the existing 6 classrooms, many are left being taught outside!

Share the Light decided to fund the conversion of a derelict area previously used for woodworking into a classroom offering space for another 45 students. This required an investment of £1,400 which isn’t a huge amount of money to raise but the result and benefit is huge!

On Saturday the 9th December we raised the final £640 needed at a musical evening hosted by Louise Rayner the musical director of Smartphones www.smartphonesax.uk supported by vocal group Masterclef https://www.facebook.com/masterclef We’d like to say a huge thank you for their time and generosity. Such a fun evening!

Thanks also to all those that donated to this project, in particular, the Rotary Club, Salesian College Library Sleepover and not forgetting all our online supporters of Michelle’s run!
